Adventures of Chiropractic Intern – Week 5
We welcomed “soon to be DC” Jessica D to our office on July 17, 2017 and she will be wrapping up her chiropractic education in October of this year. Jessica has been a great help and a friendly face in the office, and we enjoy having her here to learn with us. She will be documenting her stay with us and commenting on what she finds interesting along the way! Check back often for her updates.
Hello Friends! I’m checking back in as I wrap up my 2nd week at Blau Chiropractic. Something that has really stuck out to me is how the office truly practices what they preach. In the mornings they warm up for the day by stretching, using the foam rollers, wobbling or doing some yoga. Everyone in the office enjoys staying active and eating healthy. You won’t find lots of processed foods or donuts in this breakroom. Instead I have been able to sample a few flavors of the antioxidant loaded Fruit & Greens beverage mix sold in the office. It tastes wonderful and they will be giving away a free container to one lucky winner.
The office also stays mentally healthy with positive attitudes and interactions despite working long hours. Even when they encounter obstacles the doctors and staff focus on brainstorming solutions instead of complaining about the problem. I once heard, “You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.” I am fortunate to intern at Blau Chiropractic and feel very at home in an office filled with like-minded individuals who care about their wellness and yours!
